Sympli in Victoria
Victoria was the second state off the blocks for Sympli with the lodgment of a caveat in December 2018 by our very first Victorian client, AB Morison Conveyancing.
As we look forward to 2020, we continue to work closely with Land Use Victoria, Victorian Land Registry Services, the State Revenue Office, AIC (Vic) and LIV. Our work with these industry partners will place Sympli in a good position to have a much greater document availability in Victoria by the end of the year.
We’re big believers that choice and competition are critical for a vibrant and reliable e-Settlement industry and we’re here to be a force of positive of change for all practitioners.
Current document availability
In Victoria, clients can lodge the below documents however our financial settlement capability is initially limited while we partner with financial institutions to establish payment connections. Land Registry and Revenue Office limitations may also apply. We will keep you informed as our payment connections are completed. If you have any questions please contact our helpdesk.

Say hi to Tracey Knight
Your Product Experience Manager for Victoria
She began in the conveyancing industry at a time when a title search required manually obtaining the title, photocopying it and colouring it in. Her time as a search and settlement clerk led her into conveyancing, where she ran a successful practice for over 15 years. Tracey now combines her love for technology with conveyancing and has been instrumental in turning user feedback into reality.
“I spend a lot of time with practitioners and the consistent message is that they want choice. I’m super proud to be part of the solution to this problem. Sympli will bring many benefits to my industry; like better pricing, technical improvements and market resilience.”
How can I get involved now?
Operating in a soft-launch phase allows us to implement further user feedback on the overall look, feel and functionality of Sympli to continue perfecting the experience for all practitioners. We do this in two ways: by working closely with practitioners who lodge the standalone documents as listed above, and through holding periodic ‘hands-on’ focus groups. If you’re interested in being involved in either of these, please express your interest in the form to the right or reach out to Tracey.
What if I want to use Sympli further down the track?
If you’re waiting for transfers and settlement capability, we’d still love to hear from you. You can register your interest using the same form and we’ll keep you updated on the latest developments in Victoria.
