Sympli System Requirements
1. Sympli Application Platform Requirements
The following operating requirements apply for accessing the Sympli platform:
Minimum System Requirements

Windows PC computer.

Microsoft Windows 10 or later with up-to-date operating system patches applied.

Computer hardware within 5 years of age and with sufficient free CPU and RAM resources to run the application.

Screen resolution of 1280×1024 or higher.

An available standard USB 2.0/3.0 port. (Required for Digital Signing via USB Token)

Anti-virus security software in accordance with Sympli’s Subscriber Security Policy
Supported Browsers

Sympli recommends using Google Chrome as your browser. Please ensure you upgrade your browser regularly, including all patches, to get the most from the Sympli Platform.

- The Sympli platform is a web-based application. A stable internet connection is required
Multi-Factor Authentication
Sympli requires the use the OKTA Verify Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) app as part of the login and authentication process.
Sympli users will need to download the OKTA Verify App on their mobile device:

2. Digital Signing Requirements
DigiCert Certificate Manager & Additional Signer Requirements
All Sympli Subscribers must have a minimum of (1) Certificate Manager and a minimum of (1) authorised signer. (These can be the same person.)
Certificate Managers can request Digital Certificates for additional authorised signers within their organisation, via their DigiCert account.
Digital Certificates must be issued by a Gatekeeper Accredited Certificate Authority. Currently, DigiCert is the only Certificate Authority supported by Sympli.
Already have an existing certificate?
If you have an existing Digital Certificate issued by DigiCert, please contact your Sympli Representative for assistance in determining if it can be used on Sympli.
Your Sympli Representative would also be happy to assist you with obtaining a new one.
Hardware Requirements
A secure USB hard token provided by Sympli for certificate storage.
Sympli Signing Applications
In order to digitally sign documents in Sympli using your DigiCert Digital Certificate (USB Token) you will need to download and install three pieces of software to your computer. Local system Administrator rights are required to install this software. You may need to ask your network or IT administration for support.

Browser Requirements
Sympli recommends using Google Chrome as your browser and installing the Google Chrome Sympli Browser Extension for Digital Signing. Sympli also supports Microsoft Edge.
It is important that the only the Google Chrome Browser Extension be used for Google Chrome, and the Microsoft Edge Browser Extension be used for Microsoft Edge. Installation of the incorrect Browser Extension can result in issues accessing the signing function inside Sympli.
